Objective
To design a distinctive logo and provide creative direction for Pendulum Trinity, the live project by the Australian drum and bass band Pendulum, marking their return to the stage after a decade-long hiatus.

Creative Process
1. Research: We delved into Pendulum's history, musical identity, and their legacy in the drum and bass scene. This provided us with a deeper understanding of how to visually represent their return to the stage.
2. Concept Development: Collaborating with the band’s management, we brainstormed various design concepts that would reflect the band's energy and their new era of live performances.
3. Logo Design: We built off Pendulum's iconic design to incorporate their classic elements while making it unique and bold for the rebrand. This approach ensured the logo honored their legacy while representing the exciting new chapter of Pendulum Trinity.
4. Creative Direction: With the live performances and digital presence in mind, we developed a visual identity that would stand out across various platforms, ensuring consistency and high impact wherever the logo would appear.
5. Finalization: The final logo was delivered in various formats for use across Pendulum Trinity’s marketing materials, online presence and live shows.
Results
The Pendulum Trinity logo quickly became a symbol of the band’s highly anticipated return, gaining widespread recognition across the globe. It was prominently featured in their digital content, where it helped attract millions of views. The logo also graced major music festivals that attract hundreds of thousands, including EDC Las Vegas, South West Four (SW4), Creamfields, and several other international events. This extensive visibility helped solidify Pendulum Trinity’s presence on the global stage, reaching millions of fans and reinforcing their legacy in the drum and bass scene.
Conclusion
Through close collaboration and creative development, we created a logo and visual identity that reflected the excitement and energy of Pendulum Trinity’s live performances. The logo’s global reach has helped solidify the project's place in the music world, resonating with fans old and new, and further establishing Pendulum as a leading force in the drum and bass scene.
